Dr Francis Chiew

Research Group Leader, Water Resources Assessment And Prediction, CSIRO

Dr Francis Chiew is a Science Leader in CSIRO and currently leads the Surface Water and Basin Outcomes Group. Francis is a global expert in hydroclimate, hydrological modelling and climate change adaptation. Francis and his team partners with government and industry, delivering knowledge, tools and datasets that directly inform water resources management and planning, including in the Murray-Darling Basin. Francis is a Lead Author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Fifth and Sixth Assessment reports.
